This is the last week to catch the stunning exhibit of mosaics by Mosaic Artists of Michigan at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. 25 artists contributed a total of 71 mosaics for “The Cutting Edge”, running through July 6. If you haven’t seen the show yet, stop by the BBAC to take in the diverse array of mosaic styles. From abstract to realism, portraiture, sculptural, and pique assiette, studies in smalti, stained glass, ceramic, and even button mosaics – there’s a lot to see!

The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center is located at 1516 S. Cranbrook Rd., Birmingham MI 48009. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 9am-6pm; Friday & Saturday, 9am-5pm; 2nd Sundays, 1-4pm.
