I’ve been marathoning this giant mosaic commission for a couple months now, and it’s starting to take its physical toll. I swear there are days I forget how old I actually am (not in a good way). For me, pain often begets mishap — and both, as it turns out, beget lo-fi comics. Really, when life farmer-blows on your shoe, why not have a sense of humor about it? The important thing is that we learn from the experience (like don’t stand so close to questionable-looking dudes at the bus stop). And that is why this story, like all good ones, has a very important moral.

Long story short: I just got off one of the most horrible client calls EVER (seriously, it was awful). Then I saw that you put a comic on your blog. I read it. It made me laugh.
